Saved Games

If you are stuck on Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness or you just want to skip to a certain level you can download these official saved games. Please follow the instructions given below to install the saved games on your computer...

Official EIDOS notes for using saved games

These files are zipped (compressed) so you will need to run Winzip or winrar
to extract them to useable file size.

There are 33 saved games in total.

Each are named as the level they are for eg "margotcarviersapartment.traodsg".
 

Your Tomb Raider game has its own savegame folder in the TRAOD game directory.
There are 15 slots available, each numbered from 1-9 and from A-E with the extension ".traodsg".

If you have any saves you wish to keep, you will want to backup this folder. Do so by viewing the folder in MY COMPUTER. Then copying the contents by selecting all the files with a click and drag of your mouse,
and then pasting either the whole folder, or the contents of it, to another location on your computer outside of the Tomb Raider:AOD game folder eg save it to a newly created folder called "Savebackup" in your My Documents folder.


You can import the extra saved games 2 ways.

Way 1: Delete the entire contents of your savegame directory (once backed up somewhere else) and then just paste up to 15 of the savedgames that you require (once unzippd) into the folder leaving the names unchanged (they will appear on your load screen in alphabetical order).

Way 2: Once unzipped, rename the particular saved game you require, as one of the existing saves, thus overwriting that particular saved slot. eg rename "parisianbackstreets.traodsg" to "1.traodsg" Then click on OK when prompted if you want to overwrite existing file.
