Throughout this document certain words are used which are explained below...
YOU - The person who is signing up for this service
WE - Planet Lara Website and its staff
SERVICE - Planet Lara website and Planet Lara Interactive
ACCOUNT - Your membership (if you have one) with Planet Lara Interactive.
By signing up to this service you accept the terms, conditions, rules and
regulations described in this document.
1. Age
-------------------------
NOTE: This section (1.) only applies to Planet Lara Interactive Membership
If you are under 13 years of age you must ask a parent or guardian to email a
letter of consent to the Planet Lara office at the address of: admin@planetlara.com.
You will not be asked your age on signing up to this service so it is your
responsibility to have permission to use the service from your parent /
guardian. Once you have signed up, the parent/guardian must send an email to
admin@planetlara.com notifying us of the under 13 year old's profile/user name.
2. Account termination and Use / Abuse of Service
-------------------------
We reserve the right to delete your account at any time we feel necessary. This
may be due to violation of this agreement or any other reason we see fit.
We do not permit the use of swear words or foul language of any form on this
service. If we feel you have violated this to an extent then we will delete your
account without notice. Or we may block you from using the whole Planet Lara
service.
We do not accept and are not responsible for any illegal activity you or anyone
else may do when using our services. This includes and is not limited to the
following..
* Spamming
* Sending of Viruses / illegal material
* Hacking
* Unauthorized access
If at any time we feel you have been abusing the service we reserve the right to
close your account without notice. Any reports of such activities will be logged
for future reference. Your activities on the service are logged for us to be
able to monitor this kind of abuse
We will not be responsible for any actions you carry out while using your
account.
3. Mailbox and Use of information / Privacy Policy.

As a member of Planet Lara you get a free mailbox which you can send and receive
message to and from other members of the service. By signing up you agree that
we are allowed to view messages sent and received in this mailbox if required.
This may be for such reasons as investigating spamming and hacking (detailed
above).
Your messages are stored along with all your account information in a location
not accessible by standard we browsers, only authorized Planet Lara staff are
able to access this information legally. Any hacking operations will result in
account termination (detailed above) or being banned from the site. Hacking is a
criminal offence.
The information you provide and use when signing up and using the service is
transferred from your computer to the server. It is then either stored or
information is transmitted to your computer from the server.
Information you provide us with when singing up to the service or when using the
service will not be sold on to other companies by us and will not be used for
any other purposes except for what you signed up for or use on the Planet Lara
website. You information may be passed to EIDOS Interactive and or Core Design /
Crystal Dynamics if required.
When signing up you must use your details and your details only. Do not use the
name or email address of another person.
4. Support
----------
If you require help, information or support you should contact us at the
following address: support@planetlara.com
Your request will be dealt with as quickly as possible. We will not reply to
emails that are not relevant to the subject.
5. Surrender of account
-----------------------
If you no longer wish your account to be active on Planet Lara you must write to
admin@planetlara.com notifying us. You will need to enclose your username and
password for your account to be deleted. Once deleted you will no longer have
access to the service under that name. Messages you have sent to other members
will remain in their inboxes but your inbox will be cleared of messages received
from other members.
6. Changes to this document
------------------------
We reserve the right to change this document at any time, the date of last
update will be notified at the top of this document. You will be notified by
email when this document changes.
7. Agreement to these terms and conditions
------------------------
By signing up to this service (Planet Lara Interactive) you agree to the
above terms and conditions.
By using the Planet Lara website you also agree to the terms laid out in this
document relating to use of the service.
8. Chat Room
------------------------
That chat room is open to the public as well as
members of this site. You must not use any offensive language or anything that
will upset anyone.
Chat sessions may be monitored for the security of you and other.
10. Logging
------------------------
As with nearly all websites, your IP address and
other information about requests to the site are written to log files automatically
by the server. A list of 'members' currently logged in, is shown on the website.
If you do not wish to be on this list you should choose the option in the
'My Lara' section to hide your profile name from the logged on list. If you
are just a standard guest (not member) visiting the website, your name etc
will not appear on the list as you have not supplied this information, in
this case the list will same somthing like "member1, member2, 5 guests and
2 hidden users are online".
