Very brief game info..

Travelling to several continents in search of a mystical ancient
artefact, Lara Croft is pitted against corrupt forces led by a figure
from her past...long thought to be dead. So much more to come!
We assume they are
referring to Von Croy but that is unconfirmed.
Are Core Design making
the game? The new game is not being developed by Core Design. Core
Design lost Tomb Raider after the most recent game in the series "Angel
of Darkness". Core
is part of the Eidos
group. Eidos gave the Tomb Raider contract to a company in America
called Crystal
Dynamics. This will be the first Tomb Raider title that Crystal
Dynamics has worked on and from reports I've heard its looking very
impressive.
When is the Tomb Raider:
Legend release? Well, Tomb Raider 7 was announced by Eidos in the annual
report and was said to be planned for the 4th quarter of the financial
year. Which makes the proposed release date around the end of March
2005. However, this was an estimate and its quite possible it could be
later. Stay tuned for more information.
Will Tomb Raider: Legend be
Angel of Darkness or Classic style? We done know for sure but, it
looks like Lara is going back to her classic style of Tomb Raiding and
that so classic Tomb Raider theme tune from Tomb Raider I.
Rumours? There's no
shortage of rumours about Tomb Raider: Legend, in actual fact, we have a
whole
forum dedicated to them! Take everything you see there with a pinch
of salt. Infact, there are so many rumours about, don't believe too
much until you see it confirmed by Eidos. All the new posted on Planet
Lara is official news, we don't paste rumours.
